Ms. Yerali-Christodoulou research project explored the communication structure of the Mesoamerican codex (pre-Hispanic Mexican books) in relation to colonialism and the traditions of indigenous Mesoamerican writing in cross-cultural adaptations within the history of book. The scholarship will grant the awardee to continue the research project and to promote cultural sensitivity and awareness through intercultural communication and contemporary art practices.
