Glykeria Reppa is a lecturer in Educational Psychology at Neapolis University Pafos. She has studied Psychology (European University of Cyprus) and Physical Education and Sports Science (Ethnikon and Kapodistriakon University of Athens). She has a Master in Sports Science (Loughborough University, UK), Master in Educational Sciences (Roehampton University and ASPETE) and Master in Educational Psychology (Neapolis University Pafos). Her doctoral thesis is in Educational and Sports Psychology.
She is trained in CBT Psychotherapy, in Career Counselling and Guidance, in Family Psycho-training, in Eating Disorders and Obesity, and in Mindfulness for adults and children.
She has worked as a Physical Educator at public and private schools and is responsible for Psychomotor Education at a private school in Greece. She has also worked as an Associate Teaching Staff (ATS) member at the University of Cyprus and Greece and has taught in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes. She is academically responsible for training/ educational programmes: “Career Counselling and Guidance”, “Mindfulness for development emotional intelligence: Techniques for educators and students” and “Promoting the mental health of students with short counselling interventions aimed at preventing school bullying”.
She has participated in seminars and in national and international conferences both as a presenter and workshop instructor, along with publishing articles, scientific papers and specialised books in the field of educational psychology, sports psychology and counselling. Her research interests include the development of life skills of children and teenagers, emotional education, development psychology, wellness and wellbeing in education and school and family communication and co-operation.
