Anastasios Pavlopoulos is a lecturer in Public Law (Constitutional and Administrative Law), at Neapolis University Pafos. He was awarded his LLM in Public Law and Political Science from the Democritus University of Thrace and his Ph.D. in Constitutional Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). He has conducted postdoctoral research in the field of comparative Constitutional Law, while he has taught at the Law School of the Aristotle University Constitutional Law, European Constitutional Law, Fundamental Rights, Mass Media Law, Administrative Procedure, Environmental Law, Spatial and Urban Planning Law, as well as Civil Service Law and Education Law. At the same time he has taught Public Economic Law in the Postgraduate Program of the Hellenic Open University and Constitutional Rights at the School of Training of Greek Police Officers, while he is a lecturer at seminars at the National School of Judges. His research interests cover the whole range of public law, but in particular he focuses on the protection of fundamental rights and the institutional guarantees of democratic processes. He has conducted research in Greek and European universities and he has published over 40 articles and studies in prestigious scientific journals.
