Stavros Christodoulou


Lecturer in History of the Black Sea Region


Dr Stavros Christodoulou is a Lecturer in Economic History at the Department of History, Politics and International Studies at the University of Neapolis in Pafos. He has obtained a PhD thesis at the Department of Language, Philology and Culture of the Democritus University of Thrace and in 2018 he was awarded the title of Doctor with s scientific field in Ancient History with emphasis on the Economics of antiquity in the Black Sea. In 2014, he has received his MBA from the University of Cyprus and in 2011 he received the postgraduate degree in Black Sea Cultural Studies with specialization in History and Archaeology from the International Hellenic University. He received his degree in 2009 as an excellent graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Ioannina at the Department of History and Archaeology. Throughout his studies he received scholarships from the State Scholarship Foundation of Cyprus and Greece, from the Onassis and Leventis Foundation. He is an author and researcher, publishing scientific articles on topics related to Economic History and Culture, while he is also a member of several cultural organizations and institutes in the country.
