Vassiliki Kapsali


Associate Professor in Law


Born in Thessaloniki (1981), Vassiliki Kapsali graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2002). She holds a Master’s degree in Public Law and Political Science from the same University (2004) as well as a D.E.A. (Diplôme d’Études Approfondies) in Public Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (2005). In 2012 she obtained her Ph.D. in Public Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, with highest distinction (très honorable avec felicitations), upon completion of her doctoral thesis on «Citizens’ rights in the administrative procedure. A comparative study of French and Greek law» under the supervision of Professor Yves Gaudemet. She has previously worked as a legal researcher for the French Council of State (2012), as a teaching and research assistant for the University of Paris ΧΙΙ Est-Créteil (2012-2013), as a research assistant at the Law School of Sciences Po Paris (2013), as a scientific collaborator for the Centre of International and European Economic Law in Thessaloniki (2013-2014) and as a teaching collaborator for the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace (2014-2017). In February 2015 she joined the Law School of the Neapolis University Pafos, where she currently serves as an adjunct lecturer in Public Law, while in October 2017 she also joined, as a teaching collaborator, the School of Social Sciences of the Hellenic Open University. She is a member of the Thessaloniki Bar Association since 2004.
