Neapolis University Pafos (NUP), in collaboration with the local Pafos Coders & Designers community, is proud to host the upcoming Pafos Coders & Designers Meetup, set to take place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 19:00 to 21:00 EEST, at the Ammochostos Amphitheatre on the NUP campus.
The evening brings together students, academics, developers, and designers for a focused session on building Android experiences for the car’s dashboard, alongside Q&A and networking. This edition shifts attention from phones to the road, exploring how Android Auto and Android Automotive are reshaping in-vehicle apps.
The featured talk, “Understanding the Android for Cars third-party ecosystem,” will be delivered by Antonio Roa-Valverde, a software engineer specialized in Android development, and offers a practical, current overview of the options for developing Android car apps and the pathways to shipping on real vehicles; beyond the theory and documentation.
The event underscores NUP’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local tech ecosystem and fostering university–industry collaboration by hosting community meetups that translate emerging technologies into real-world practice.
The session will be held in English.
Registration is required via Meetup: https://www.meetup.com/pafos-coders-designers/events/310827621/. If “Join Waitlist” appears, approvals will follow shortly.
