Neapolis University Pafos, in collaboration with the Pafos Coders and Designers community, will host the next Pafos Coders and Designers Meetup on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 19:00 to 21:00 EEST at the Ammochostos Amphitheatre on the University campus.
This edition focuses on one of the most critical areas in technology driven entrepreneurship. Monetization. The event will bring together students, academics, developers, designers, and startup enthusiasts for a session centered on practical approaches to turning digital products into sustainable revenue. Attendees will explore business models, pricing logic, user behavior insights, and real cases from technology enabled companies.
The first talk, titled “Trips and tricks of app monetization,” will be delivered by Oleksandr Merlian and will present strategies to maximize revenue potential from software products. The session will highlight pricing structures, subscription mechanisms, product tiers, and data driven decision making that support long term financial growth.
The second talk, titled “Profit by Design: Turning Business Ideas into Sustainable Growth,” will be delivered by Bernadette M. Orallo. The presentation will focus on commercial and operational decisions that strengthen profitability in technology-oriented businesses. Through examples from small and medium enterprises in finance, leisure, and professional services, the session will show how business model selection, customer segmentation, pricing, team structure, and operations influence growth.
The meetup supports the University’s commitment to strengthening the local innovation ecosystem and connecting academic knowledge with real market practice.
