As part of the Erasmus Days 2025 celebrations, Neapolis University Pafos will hold a promotional and dissemination event for the Erasmus+ project “Securing Inclusion” on Saturday, 18 October 2025, from 16:30 to 18:00, at the Neapolis University Pafos kiosk in Pafos Town Hall Square.
The Securing Inclusion Project is an Erasmus+ initiative that promotes diversity, inclusivity, and innovation in higher education, with a particular focus on the field of security studies. Coordinated by a European consortium of universities from Cyprus, France, Greece, Malta, and Bulgaria, the project seeks to embed principles of equality and inclusion into university curricula and to foster new teaching and learning approaches that reflect the complexity of today’s global challenges.
By fostering collaboration between academics, students, and policymakers, Securing Inclusion aims to dismantle barriers linked to gender, ethnicity, and religion within traditional academic settings. The project also promotes transdisciplinary thinking and innovative pedagogies, encouraging inclusive practices that empower underrepresented groups and strengthen the social relevance of higher education.
The initiative’s work plan includes the development of an e-course curriculum, an anti-discrimination educational game, and a digital learning platform, all designed to provide flexible and accessible tools for inclusive teaching and learning.
Through this event, Neapolis University Pafos contributes to the project’s outreach and visibility efforts by connecting local and academic communities with the broader European mission of fostering equity and participation in education.
