Educational Technologist
Dr. Vasileios Balafas is an IT & Network Technologist and a Political Scientist. He studied Teleinformatics and Management at the ATEI of Epirus. He holds a Μaster’s degree in Data Communications (MSc in Data Communications – University of Kingston) and a Masters degree in International Relations and Policies (Department of Political Science and International Relations, University of the Peloponnese), with a scholarship high academic achievement). He also holds an MA in Local and Regional Government and Development jointly offered by the University of the Peloponnese, Democritus University of Thrace, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and the University of Piraeus . In July 2022 he was awarded a Doctorate Degree from the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of Peloponnese with a main research interest in the role of Energy in International Politics. He has experience in the utilization of new technologies in the learning process, particularly through his participation in a series of certified seminars on distance education and the use of technology.
