17th Meeting of European Schools of Architecture in Chania (ELC)

During the 29th of August and the 2nd of September 2014, the 17th Meeting of Architectural Schools of Europe at the Center of Mediterranean Architecture (KAM) in Chania took place .

The School of Architecture, Land and Environmental Sciences of Neapolis University in Cyprus was represented by Dr. Julia Georgi, Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture.

The main theme of the 17th Meeting of European Schools of Architecture focused on the future of architectural education and has been generally accepted that architecture should be more receptive to the changes expected to occur in the near future.

A great number of representatives of Architectural Schools from many countries such as Greece, Italy, Germany, Cyprus, Hungary, Norway, The Netherlands, United Kingdom along with guest speakers from the U.S.A (keynote speakers: Marvin J. Malecha, Dean and Professor, College of Design, NC State University) attended the event.
