Call for Applications: Doctoral Candidates – Spring Semester 2025–2026

The Doctoral Studies Unit of Neapolis University Pafos (NUP) announces the opening of a limited number of positions for Doctoral Candidates for the Spring Semester 2025–2026. The application period will run from Saturday, 1 November 2025, to Saturday, 31 January 2026.

Doctoral Programmes

Applications are invited for the following Doctoral Programmes:

• Psychology (Greek – English)
• Modern and Contemporary History (Greek)
• International Relations and Security (English)
• Accounting and Finance in Co-supervision with the University of Western Macedonia (Greek – English)
• Project Management in Co-supervision with the Democritus University of Thrace (Greek – English)
• Business Administration in Co-supervision with the University of Piraeus (Greek – English)

Online Submission of Applications

Applications and supporting documents are submitted electronically through the university’s dedicated online platform. Applicants may select one or more programmes of interest and specify the thematic area of their proposed research.

Admission Criteria

Applicants must hold a recognised Master’s degree in a relevant academic field and demonstrate proficiency in English (where required). The submission of a research proposal, a statement of interest, two recommendation letters, and a detailed CV is mandatory. Evaluation will be based on scientific competence, originality of the proposal, and the ability to conduct independent research.

No applications or supporting documents will be accepted after Saturday, 31 January 2026, 11:59 p.m.
