Neapolis University in Cyprus, a Founding Member of the Institute for Small Business and Enterpreneurship (ISBE)

Neapolis University in Cyprus, oriented towards extroversion, participation in research and the production of new knowledge, is now, together with other distinguished and internationally renowned University Institutions, such as the University of Birmingham, Brunel University London, Coventry University, Liverpool University, Strathclyde University, University of Warwick and others, founding member of the International Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (https://isbe.org.uk/ ).

The Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE) is a network for people and organisations involved in small business and entrepreneurship research, policy, practice, education, support and advice. ISBE’s members are its most valuable resource, offering vast reserves of knowledge and research. Through events and activities, ISBE aims to disseminate this research to business owners, policy makers and business support organisations where it can have genuine impact and inform change, and to share these resources with academics, researchers and educators. Through ISBE’s network and activities, academics, business owners, policy makers and those who work in business support are able to connect and form beneficial working relationships.

The Rector of Neapolis University in Cyprus, Professor Pantelis Sklias stated: “The participation of our University in the international network ISBE as a Founding member, among distinguished Universities, is a significant success. At the time of the pandemic, NUP remains committed to internationalization, extroversion, the development of partnerships with the aim of academic excellence and the use of new knowledge by its academic community.
