Neapolis University Pafos: Signing of Memorandum of Understanding with Azul Cyprus

Neapolis University Pafos is pleased to announce a collaboration agreement with Azul Cyprus Limited, a leader in the Java industry, to develop a networking context for research and innovation.

This collaboration represents an initiative that is committed to promoting leading-edge and core technologies, educational initiatives and practical applications. It combines the academic excellence of Neapolis University Pafos and the expertise of Azul Cyprus Limited to achieve the following objectives:

• Practical applications and solutions: Collaborative efforts will focus on real-world applications, leveraging Java technology to address modern challenges in an increasingly connected world.
• Educational engagement: Azul Cyprus Limited professionals will collaborate with professors and students by announcing topics based on real-life use cases and problems which will constitute dissertations.
• Innovative Research and Development: Joint research projects will explore novel applications, optimizations, and enhancements in Java technology.
• Internship and training programs: Students will gain valuable exposure through internship opportunities and specialized training programs within Azul Cyprus Limited, gaining hands-on experience in a Java-centric software world.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of Neapolis University Pafos by the Professor of Artificial Intelligence Mr. Savvas Chatzichristofis, Vice-Rector of Research and Innovation and on behalf of Azul Cyprus Limited by Mr. Anton Shamin, Director, Engineering & Country Manager.
