New opportunities for Students’ Mobility at Neapolis University

Neapolis University in Cyprus enriches the opportunities for students’ mobility. The Department of History of Neapolis University (Cyprus) signed a Bilateral Agreement with the Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Ioannina (Greece) in the framework of the Erasmus + Programme. Under this Agreement, students of both Universities have the opportunity of mobility for a certain period of time. The students can move from one semester to one year .This Agreement is one of the most important ones signed so far within the framework of the Erasmus + Programme. The Erasmus Office of Neapolis University aims to promote the university in Europe and internationally since its main objective is to enact and establish international relations and partnerships with other European and International Higher Education Institutions. These relations can be established through bilateral agreements. Neapolis University has signed so far 60 major bilateral agreements with other Universities in Europe and international (Russia, Brazil, and USA). The University has also acquired the new ERASMUS + Charter for Higher Education 2014-2020. The aim of the University is to encourage and motivate students and staff (both academics and administrative) to move to other Universities or Institutions to enrich their knowledge, gain new skills and experiences and broaden their horizons. The Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP) has chosen the project that was implemented with full success by Neapolis University in 2018 to present it in the next IDEP edition. The Neapolis University in Cyprus has been approved to carry out the mobility activity with a grant amount of 44.020 euros for the academic period 2018-2019.
