The Liaison Office of Neapolis University Pafos in collaboration with Dr. Anastasios Pavlopoulos, Lecturer of the School of Law, organized an innovative and pioneering seminar on acting for young law students.
The interactive seminar was given by Dr. Marina Athanasiou-Takis from the Paremvasis Theatre Stage in Paphos and included diaphragmatic breathing, speaking and readiness exercises, posture and performance preparation, and improvisation through legal debate.
Mrs Marina Athanasiou-Taki holds a Ph.D. in Theatre Studies with a specialization in Acting and Directing from the Open University of Cyprus. She has also studied Classical Literature with postgraduate studies in Educational Leadership and Theatre Studies. She is a member of the Cyprus Playwriters Association and the Cyprus Centre of the International Theatre Institute as well as co-founder and director of the professional Paremvasis Theatre Stage.
Neapolis University Pafos aims to organize seminars to enrich and strengthen the soft skills and competencies of its students, which are an essential component of their preparation for a successful and upward professional career.
