Signing of Memorandum of Understanding with SOCIALDOO

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Neapolis University Pafos and SOCIALDOO, a company specializing in the communication strategy. The aim of the cooperation is the development of new fields and innovative applications in the areas of corporate communication and marketing, the promotion of research and cooperation in European programs, the organization of joint actions and public debates, students’ internships, holding of lectures on current industry topics such as “intelligent relationships” (the application of artificial intelligence in communication), etc.
The collaboration will be developed on multiple levels, both in the context of the postgraduate programs MSc in Digital Marketing and MSc in Information Systems & Digital Innovation, as well as in the context of the specialized research initiatives of Neapolis University Pafos, such as the Neapolis Innovation Research and Development Center (NIRDC) and the Intelligent Systems Laboratory of the Department of Computer Science.
The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on behalf of Neapolis University Pafos by the Rector, Professor Pantelis Sklias and on behalf of SOCIALDOO, by the Founding Managing Partner, Mrs. Eleni Sourani.
As stated by the Rector, Professor Pantelis Sklias, “for Neapolis University Pafos, it is a strategic choice to be close to the labour market by connecting the academic world with that of businesses, providing its students with specialized knowledge that will guarantee them the possibility of immediate professional advancement. Partnerships, such as the one with SOCIALDOO, expand the University’s network of partnerships and the professional prospects of our students. They simultaneously promote applied innovation in dynamic industries such as communication and marketing.”
Ms. Sourani, CEO of the company stated “as for SOCIALDOO, it is a prestige and honour to collaborate with a highly acclaimed academic institution such as Neapolis University Pafos “. She further emphasizes the dynamics created by the channel with the university community for the development of new modern products and services.
Mr. Panagiotis Kakolyris, General Manager of SOCIALDOO and Research Associate of Neapolis University Pafos went on to say “Taking advantage of the technological opportunities of the 4th Industrial Revolution in the area of communication creates a horizon of unlimited possibilities”.
