The Young Scientists Office of EDEK Paphos in cooperation with the Neapolis University of Pafos organised with success on February 8, 2014 an event on “Economic crisis – Unemployment among young people and solutions”. In the event they sent greetings the Chairman of the House of Representatives and President of EDEK Yiannakis Omirou and the Member of Parliament of EDEK Paphos, Phidias Sarikas. Dr. Spiros Vliamos, Professor of political economy at National University of Athens and the Neapolis University of Paphos, introduced the event and stated, among other things, that in parallel with the economic crisis exists the crisis in economic thinking. Host for the event was Tasos Yiasemides, economist and Secretary General of the Commission Economy of EDEK.
