Teachers are trained for handling incidents of violence at schools

Teachers of Arch. Makarios III Lyceum in Paphos voluntarily and improving the school climate were trained on 04.08.2014 by Dr. Olga Solomon Koundouri, Lecturer in the Psychology Department of the Neapolis University in Cyprus. The training took place in the university and joined in the program Comenius Regio 2013-2015, entitled “Bullying in Adolescence: prevention and treatment methods in the school environment in Greece and Cyprus in association with the Directorate of Secondary Education Athens, District Office Secondary Education Paphos 3rd, GEL Heraklion Attica, the First High School Archbishop Makarios III Paphos, the Adolescent Health Unit of the Second Department of Pediatrics, University of Athens, and Neapolis University Pafos. Teachers that participated expressed their satisfaction and gratitude for this essential training and called for continuity and deepening of their education.
