Local Seminar at Neapolis University of the Erasmus + Research Program InHerit on Cultural Heritage as a Generator of Sustainable Development
Between the 22nd and 26th of January at Neapolis University in Cyprus takes place the second local Seminar of the Erasmus + Research Program InHerit on Cultural Heritage as a Generator of Sustainable Development. The Seminar is organized by the School of Architecture, Land and Environmental Sciences of Neapolis University in Cyprus, under the supervision of the Dean of the School, Mr. Solon Xenopoulos and Lecturers, Dr. Ioannis Pissourios and Mr. Michalis Sioulas.
Participating in the seminar are representatives from the School of Architecture of the Technical University of Crete, the Department of Economics of the University of Athens, the Middlesex University School of Business, the Maniatakeion Foundation, the Center of the Mediterranean Architecture and the Fondazione Flaminia Institute of Ravenna. The above institutions are also partners of this research program.
The Seminar is structured in two parts. The first is devoted to education among the participants, while the second is to study and understand the policies and methods that govern the management of the cultural heritage of Pafos.
Within the framework of the Seminar, contacts will be held with the Mayor of Pafos, Mr. Phedon Phedonos and representatives of the Department of Antiquities, the Organization Pafos 2017 Cultural Capital of Europe and the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
