A working meeting was held between the Vice-President of the Council of Neapolis University Mr. George Leptos, the Rector Professor Pantelis Sklias and the Director of Administration and Finance, Mr. Andreas Moleskis, with the Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Cyprus, Shmuel Revel. During the meeting the prospects for cooperation between Neapolis University in Cyprus and Israel’s academic institutions on cutting-edge issues such as new technologies, the environment, entrepreneurship and the environment, were extensively discussed. It was also stressed that there is a need to develop joint initiatives with a view to further strengthening the very good relations between the two countries, exploiting the existing and future comparative advantages. The continuation of the cooperation was also agreed with the conclusion of specific agreements between Neapolis University and Israeli Universities.
