Neapolis University Pafos Hosts the July 2025 Pafos Coders & Designers Meetup

24/07 - 24/07 @ 19:00 - 21:00

Neapolis University Pafos (NUP), in collaboration with the local Pafos Coders & Designers community, is proud to host the upcoming Pafos Coders & Designers Meetup, set to take place on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 19:00 to 21:00 EEST, at the Keryneia Amphitheatre on the NUP campus.

This monthly meetup is a cornerstone of the regional tech scene, offering a dynamic space for developers, designers, students, and tech enthusiasts to come together, learn, and exchange ideas. The July session will focus on the fast-evolving field of cross-platform development, with a particular emphasis on Kotlin Multiplatform.

The keynote talk, titled “Cross-Platform in 2025: Can Kotlin Multiplatform Take the Lead?”, will be delivered by Ekaterina Petrova, Product Marketing Manager at JetBrains. With Compose Multiplatform now stable on iOS, Kotlin is rapidly becoming a major player in the cross-platform ecosystem. This session will explore its advantages, limitations, and potential to surpass alternatives like Flutter and React Native.

As always, the event will offer a welcoming space for professional networking, community discussion, and shared inspiration. Participants are encouraged to register in advance via the official Meetup platform:

Registration is free, but space is limited. In case of a waitlist, approvals will be handled promptly by the hosts.

Through initiatives like this, Neapolis University Pafos continues to support knowledge exchange and foster innovation in the broader tech and academic community of Cyprus.
