PHD PROGRAMME WITH CO-SUPERVISION

The PhD Program with Co-supervision in “Project Management” reflects the priorities of the collaborating Universities mission. It is designed to provide a course of studies that meets local and national needs, promotes links with local communities and embraces modern pedagogy and learning technologies based on the need to associate our students with a learning curve that embraces critical thinking.

Neapolis University Pafos and Democritus University of Thrace aspire to extend the range of taught programs at undergraduate, graduate and PhD levels. The PhD Program with Co-supervision in “Project Management” program helps to build upon the capabilities of the collaborating Schools and Departments at the level of primary scientific and academic research. It attracts students and academics with a great experience and knowledge on the related fields and aspires research in fields of disciplinary and multidisciplinary research approach.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Autonomously identify research questions and fields requiring a scientific approach.
  • Demonstrate effective research skills including the formulation of the research problem; elaboration and development of a research project, integration of previous publications into an appropriate literature review; design of a research study; data analysis; ability to summarize and present the results.
  • Design and conduct independent original research that creates new knowledge and innovation.
  •  Present scholarly and professional integrity. They will be able to identify areas where ethical issues may arise in their work or discipline, and articulate strategies for dealing with ethical issues in the profession.
  • Disseminate their research work in the scholarly community for peer review and further advance the knowledge base in the field. They will be able to communicate the major tenets of their field and their work orally and in writing for students, peers, and the lay public
