Brand Charisma – The Magic of Brands

The Department of Communication and Creativity of Neapolis University Pafos is organising a public lecture titled “The Allure of Brands”, to be held on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, at 18:00, at Neapolis University Pafos.

The keynote speaker will be Professor Nicholas J. Ashill, Professor of Marketing and Chair of the Research Committee at the Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand), who will present his research titled:
“Creating Sparkle and Magic: Development and Validation of a Brand Charisma Scale.” The event will be introduced by Associate Professor Andreas Masouras, Head of the Department of Communication and Creativity.

This lecture, marking the first official event of the Department of Communication and Creativity, focuses on the power of the emotional appeal of brands and how the “magic” of a brand can be captured, measured, and enhanced through communication, marketing, and creativity strategies.

The event is open to the public and is addressed to students, professionals, and members of the local community who are interested in the role of communication, innovation, and creativity in shaping strong and attractive brands.

With this event, Neapolis University Pafos inaugurates a new era of academic and social outreach for the Department of Communication and Creativity, linking research with the real market and the local community.
