17th Graduation Ceremony of Neapolis University Pafos

In an atmosphere filled with pride, emotion, and anticipation for the future, the 17th Annual Graduation Ceremony of Neapolis University Pafos was held on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at the Coral Beach Hotel & Resort. The University celebrated the achievements of its newest graduates from all schools and programmes of study.

After fifteen years of academic growth and contribution, Neapolis University Pafos continues to strengthen its position as one of the most dynamic and outward-looking higher education institutions in Cyprus. With more than 10,000 awarded degrees, 3,500 active students, and a steadily expanding international footprint, the University stands as a benchmark for academic quality and opportunity.

As part of its strategic focus on internationalisation and outreach, the university actively participates in the EMERGE European University Alliance, promoting educational innovation, regional development, and cross-border collaboration.

The ceremony opened with a welcome address by Mr George M. Leptos, President of the University Council, who congratulated the graduates and highlighted the University’s strategic progress and growing international recognition.

“Guided by our vision and values, Neapolis University Pafos continues to grow, expand its collaborations, and offer academic programmes that respond to the needs of society and the economy. Today is a day of celebration for all of us.”

The event continued with a speech by the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Dr Nikodimos Damianou, who emphasised the transformative role of knowledge, technology and perseverance in today’s rapidly changing world.

“Education, research and innovation are the foundations upon which the future will be built. With the knowledge and experiences, you have gained, you are ready to co-create a world where humans and technology collaborate and progress together.”

The ceremony concluded with an inspirational address by the Rector of Neapolis University Pafos, Professor Pantelis Sklias, who encouraged graduates to embrace ambition, confidence and resilience in the new chapter ahead.

“Neapolis University Pafos is our shared home. It is the place where your journey begins, and where the next steps are shaped. Raise the bar of your aspirations as high as possible. You have all the tools you need to face challenges and create the future you envision.”

During the ceremony, representatives from business and technology sectors presented honorary awards and distinctions, recognising students’ academic excellence, innovation, and engagement in research and international initiatives.

Following the conferrals, graduates were formally welcomed into the growing alumni community of Neapolis University Pafos, now numbering more than 10,000 members who distinguish themselves in Cyprus and around the world.
