University of Reading Delegation Visits Neapolis University Pafos

A delegation from the University of Reading visited Neapolis University Pafos from 28 to 30 September 2026, as part of the two institutions’ cooperation on the LLB and LLM in International Commercial Law programmes.

The visit took place at a particularly significant time for the cooperation, as the 2026–2027 academic year marked the start of the first cohort of students on the undergraduate LLB programme. The programme is offered at Neapolis University Pafos in cooperation with the University of Reading.

The University of Reading delegation comprised Louise Hage, Associate Pro Vice Chancellor, Education and Student Experience; Mark Poustie, Head of School of Law; Sharon Sinclair, School Director of Teaching and Learning and Deputy Head of School; and Laura Miles, Senior Global Partnerships Manager.

During the three-day visit, the Reading representatives took part in student induction and presented the University of Reading and its School of Law. They also had the opportunity to meet the programme’s first students and discuss their academic experience and the opportunities offered by the cooperation between the two institutions.

As part of the visit’s academic programme, a workshop on legal research was also held, giving students the opportunity to engage with the methodology and requirements of university-level legal research.

The University of Reading delegation was also given a tour of the Neapolis University Pafos facilities, and held meetings with University staff and academics.

The visit provided an opportunity to further strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions and to coordinate next steps at academic and administrative level. The presence of the Reading representatives at the University, combined with the start of the first LLB cohort, marked the beginning of a new phase of the cooperation in Cyprus.

Neapolis University Pafos and the University of Reading continue to cooperate in providing students with a law programme that connects Cyprus’s academic environment with the University of Reading’s School of Law.
