Neapolis University Pafos participated with a delegation of 11 representatives in the EMERGE Intra-Alliance Staff Week 2026, held from 5 to 9 October 2026 in Norway and hosted by the University of Inland Norway (INN). The University’s delegation included representatives of its senior leadership, academic staff and administrative services, reflecting its active role in the development of the Alliance and the advancement of joint European initiatives in higher education.

Representatives from all nine EMERGE partner universities took part in this year’s Staff Week. Meetings were held across the Lillehammer, Evenstad, Hamar and Elverum campuses, combining hybrid sessions with parallel working group meetings. The programme aimed to strengthen coordination, facilitate the exchange of experience and advance shared priorities. It included meetings of the Alliance’s working groups covering areas such as governance, quality assurance, joint degree programmes, digital infrastructure, communications and student engagement.

Neapolis University Pafos plays a leading role in coordinating and developing EMERGE’s communications. Its work contributes to shaping the Alliance’s shared identity, promoting its activities and results, informing university communities and external stakeholders, and encouraging the participation of students, academic staff and administrative personnel. These efforts support EMERGE’s consistent presence at European level and ensure that initiatives across the nine partner universities are communicated clearly and coherently.

EMERGE brings together nine universities from eight European countries. The Alliance aims to strengthen cooperation in higher education, expand mobility opportunities and reinforce the links between universities and the regions and societies they serve.
