BIOGRAPHY
Antonis Klapsis is Assistant Professor of Political and Diplomatic History. He obtained his BA in 2000 from the Department of International and European Studies of Panteion University. He holds an MA in International Law and Diplomatic Studies (2003), as well as a PhD in Diplomatic History (2006) from the same University. He has taught at the University of Peloponnese, at Panteion University, at the Hellenic Open University, and at the Open University of Cyprus. He is the Academic Coordinator of the Centre of International and European Political Economy of the University of Peloponnese. He has been a Visiting Fellow at the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies. He has worked as an Expert at the European Committee of the Regions on issues concerning the European Neighbourhood Policy and the European Migration Agenda. He is a member of the Hellenic Historic Society, the Hellenic Committee of Southeast European Studies, and the Hellenic Society of International Law and International Relations. He has presented papers in numerous academic conferences, whereas he has published papers in international academic journals and contributed volumes. He is the author of six books.
