Neapolis University Pafos to co-host a special meetup featuring live app demos, community feedback and opportunities for collaboration
Neapolis University Pafos (NUP) will co-host the upcoming Pafos Coders & Designers Meetup on Thursday, 17 September 2026, bringing together developers, designers, technology enthusiasts and members of the local tech community for an evening focused on app development, collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The meetup, organised in collaboration with the local Pafos Coders & Designers team, will take place from 19:00 to 21:00 at the Ammochostos Amphitheatre at Neapolis University Pafos. This month’s event comes as the Pafos Coders & Designers team partners with RevenueCat to bring the excitement of Shipaton 2026 to Cyprus, giving local builders the opportunity to participate in the global hackathon community.
Running from 1 August to 30 September 2026, Shipaton is RevenueCat’s global hackathon for builders creating and launching real apps on app stores. Participants compete for prizes while sharing the products they have developed and connecting with a wider community of app creators.
The September meetup will give participants a chance to bring that experience into the local community. Throughout the evening, builders will showcase their apps through live demonstrations, exchange ideas and receive feedback from fellow developers, designers and technology enthusiasts. The event will also create space for collaboration, peer support and new connections, complemented by swag and giveaways for attendees.
By bringing together people who are actively building, experimenting and sharing their work, the meetup reflects the value of community-driven learning in the technology sector. It provides an informal setting where ideas can be tested, practical experiences can be exchanged and emerging projects can receive input from people with different perspectives and areas of expertise.

The event will take place on Thursday, 17 September 2026, from 19:00 to 21:00 EEST, at Neapolis University Pafos, 2 Danais Avenue, Paphos 8042. Registration is required through Meetup. If the event page displays a “Join Waitlist” option, participants can still submit their request, which will be reviewed by the organisers.
