Dr. Ioannis Komodromos holds a Ph.D. in Economics with a specialization in Data Management and Tourism from the University of the Peloponnese and Neapolis University Pafos (a joint co-supervised program). He also holds an MBA from the Cyprus Institute of Marketing and a Master of Arts in Hotel Management from the Swiss Hotel Management School. With more than ten years of professional experience in the hospitality industry across Cyprus, Greece, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, he has developed expertise in operations management, business development, and digital transformation within hotels and food service establishments. His key achievements include the implementation of sustainable practices, the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational manuals, as well as achieving significant revenue growth through strategic initiatives. Today, Dr. Komodromos combines his professional experience with his academic research as a lecturer, aiming to educate and guide the next generation of hospitality professionals
