Alexis Antoniou is a Registered Counselling Psychologist and a Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Psychology at Neapolis University Pafos. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology (Leeds Becket University), a Master’s degree in Clinical-Counselling Psychology (LaSalle University USA), and a PhD in Psychology (University of Bolton). Furthermore, he has completed professional trainings in Systemic Psychotherapy and Addiction Counselling. As a psychologist he has worked in many mental health placements such as KETHEA Athens (Therapy Centre for Dependent Individuals), Doctors of the World Greece, and at the American Academy Counselling Centre. Currently he is the scientific coordinator of psychological services at the Family Guidance and Support centre in Limassol-Cyprus where he offers counselling and psychotherapy, and supervision to psychology and psychotherapy students. Alexis has his private practice where he provides counselling and psychotherapy services, and clinical supervision.
