Dr. Amvrosios Prodromou is a Lecturer in the School of Economics, Business and Computer Science at Neapolis University Pafos. Dr. Prodromou has an extensive industry experience and as an Operations and Marketing Director in a private organisation, has managed to win the prestigious “Cyprus Innovation Award in the Primary Sector 2010” and the “European Business Awards 2012/2013 in Innovation ‘The Award for Environmental & Corporate Sustainability’”. He is an active business consultant with a proven track record, with the Tourism Industry to be his main industry of operation. He is a qualified trainer of the Cyprus Human Resource Development Authority (ΑΝΑΔ) and through this qualification he has delivered several professional seminars to companies and industry organisations, mainly in the areas of Strategy of Business Circular Economy and Sustainable Development, Business Communication, Labour Shortage in the Tourism Industry, Crisis Management and Business Continuation, and Development of Students’ Evaluation Systems. He is also a member of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) from which he has been qualified as a Sustainability expert in a European Project with the participation of five countries. He has participated in over twenty Erasmus+ projects (KA1, KA2, and KA3), representing several organisations in both the Republic of Cyprus and abroad. He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and book. He has also reviewed several articles and book chapters for journals and books, including Emerald and IGI Global. His main field of research interest evolves around Simulation Tools, Marketing, SMEs, and Sustainability. He has also taught in other higher education institutions in the Republic of Cyprus.
