Dimitra Latsou is a Lecturer in Public Healthcare Services Administration at Neapolis University Pafos. She is a graduate of Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Athens. She completed the postgraduate program in Management and Economic Evaluation of Professional and Environmental Health, at the Medical School of the University of Athens (with a scholarship from the Bodossaki Foundation). She holds a PhD from the University of Peloponnese in the scientific field: Economic Analysis of Social Policies.

She has more than 10 years of experience in the field of social policy and economic analysis in health issues. She worked for 5 years as an assistant researcher at the Institute of Political, Economic and Social Research (Greece), in the field of quality of life in various diseases (eg rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, oral health) but also in epidemiological and economic health analyzes. She was responsible for reviewing the literature, compiling protocols, organizing and monitoring the study, statistically analyzing the results of the study, writing reports and articles for publications in magazines and conferences. Later she worked for 2 years as a consultant in the Quality and Efficiency Department of the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the TEI of Athens through co-financed NSRF programs, where she gained experience in quality management systems in public hospitals, patient satisfaction and long-term patient care and treatment. Now she works as a research associate at Pharmecons and has been selected as an Academic Scholar at the University of West Attica.

She has several publications on patient satisfaction, health-related quality of life, health assessment and planning.
