Special Teaching Staff in International Finance
Soteria Charalambous is Special Teaching Staff in the field of International Finance. She graduated from the University of Cyprus with a Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2013. Following that, she continued her postgraduate studies in Bayes Business School in London (formerly Cass Business School, London) obtaining a Master of Science in Insurance and Risk Management in 2014, while in 2016 she completed her second postgraduate degree from the Department of Economics of the University of Cyprus, with major in Economics (Master of Science in Economic Analysis). Currently, she is expected to complete her PhD in Finance at Cyprus University of Technology in 2022.
During her graduate training in her PhD, she had the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant and special scientist, tutoring Economic – related courses and serving as an instructor in several undergraduate modules such as International Economics and International Financial Management. Apart from this, since 2015, she has worked in multiple higher education institutions, teaching modules from different fields, such as Economics, Business and Finance. What is more, Mrs Charalambous was certified as a Licensed Instructor of Professional Training – Level 5 CyQF/EQF from the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA).
