Dr. Panagiota Kendeou, Associate Professor of Educational Psychology at the Neapolis University in Cyprus, was the honorary speaker in Valencia, Spain as part of the international conference, titled Society for Text and Discourse 2013. Dr. Kendeou presented her research work in understanding and learning from written texts while proposing a new theoretical model which received excellent reviews. Students of the postgraduate of the MSc Educational Psychology of the Neapolis University in Cyprus participated also, with positive suggestions, in the conference. Sylvia Savvides, Ada Stavrinidou and Angeliki Tziaza showed their postgraduate theses and received positive feedback on the quality and breadth of their research.
