Dr. Antonis Klapsis, member of the teaching staff of the Postgraduate Programmes in History of Neapolis University in Cyprus, has been appointed Expert at the European Committee of the Regions in order to compile the draft opinion on the review of the implementation of the European Agenda on Migration. It is one of the most important fields of activities of the European Union in the last years, especially because of the growing migratory and refugee flows, which is of special interest for both Cyprus and Greece. The draft opinion will be concluded in spring 2018 and it will be submitted to the European Commission. The appointment of Dr. Klapsis follows the successful draft opinion which he compiled in 2015 on the new European Neighborhood Policy.
