In the context of co-operation between the School of Architecture, Engineering, Land and Environmental Sciences of Neapolis University in Cyprus and the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous, on Tuesday, 9th of April 2019, at the outside area of Palaia Electriki in Pafos, an event took place during which the Mayor of Polis Chrysochous Mr. Yiotis Papachristofi, presented to the students Certificates for their participation in the development of proposals for the design of structures signifying the main entrances to Polis Chrysochous. In the same event the Mayor announced the names of the students who had been chosen to proceed to the next stage of development of their proposals in order to select the projects which would finally be constructed. The students proposals were produced during the School of Architecture course supervised by Eleni Hadjinicolaou and Giannis Koutsolampros.
This co-operation of the School with the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous,is placed in the wider context of contact of the University with society, as well as the students contact with architectural practice.
