EMERGE Collaborative Call: Turning Ideas into Impact

Neapolis University Pafos, as a proud member of the EMERGE European University Alliance, invites students, academic staff, and external partners to take part in the EMERGE Collaborative Call – an open opportunity to co-create initiatives that make a real difference in our communities.

At the heart of EMERGE lies a shared commitment to empowering regions and communities across Europe that are often overlooked. By bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise, the Alliance fosters meaningful collaboration that connects education, research, and society.

This call encourages the development of innovative, inclusive, and sustainable projects that respond to local and regional challenges while contributing to a broader European vision of cooperation and cohesion.

What is the Collaborative Call about?

The EMERGE Collaborative Call supports initiatives that reflect the Alliance’s core values:

• Inclusion and social engagement
• Sustainability and environmental responsibility
• Resilience and well-being
• Multilingualism and cultural diversity

Projects should aim to create tangible impact, whether by strengthening links between universities and society, promoting new learning experiences, or addressing real-world challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Who can apply?

Participation is open to:

• Students (undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral)
• Academic and administrative staff
• External stakeholders, including NGOs, businesses, and community organisations

Each proposal must include at least one EMERGE university member and one external partner, ensuring strong collaboration between academia and society.

Funding and Support

Selected projects will receive funding of up to €5,000, alongside support from the EMERGE network to help bring ideas to life.

Beyond financial support, participants will gain valuable experience in international collaboration, project development, and community engagement, strengthening both their academic and professional profiles.
