On Wednesday 03 June the Minister of Higher Education of the Sultanate of Oman, Dr Rawya Saud Al Busaidi, accompanied by the Ambassador of Oman in Cyprus main Sheikh Ahmed Al-Shanfari and delegation from the Sultanate of Oman, visited, as a guest of the Minister of Education and Culture, the Neapolis University in Cyprus.
They met with the Vice President of the University Mr George Leptos, the Rector Prof. Spyros Makridakis and the group of Academics of the University where they had informed them about the activities of the University on both research and academic level as well as possible areas of future cooperation.
The Minister showed a keen interest in the academic activities of the University, expressing her desire for future possible cooperation in common areas of interest. The Minister and the delegation toured the premises of the Neapolis University in Cyprus and thanked the University for their warm welcome.
