Neapolis University Pafos participated in the international architecture event SHARE Nicosia

On May 9, 2022 Neapolis University Pafos participated in the international architecture event SHARE Nicosia which was organized by Share Architects and the Association of Architects of Cyprus. Neapolis University Pafos and the Department of Architecture, Land & Environmental Sciences also signed a memorandum of understanding with Share Architects and was an official scientific partner in the event.
Both students and professors from the Department of Architecture, Land & Environmental Sciences participated in the event. More specifically, the Department of Architecture, Land & Environmental Sciences through its representatives coordinated a discussion at the event with the theme ‘Architecture as a means of Promoting Identity’. The professors who helped with the general organization were Professor Solos Xenopoulos, Dean of the School of Architecture, Engineering, Land & Environmental Sciences, Lecturer Dr. Chrystala Psathiti and Eleni Hatzinikolaou, special teaching staff at the Department of Architecture, Land & Environmental Sciences.
The event was attended by architects and architectural firms from 8 countries: Greece, Cyprus, Lebanon, Israel, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Italy and Romania. Among the participating offices were MVRDV International Architecture, Setter Architects, Delugan Meissl Associated Architects, Pila Studio, AVW Architecture, DW5, Reichenberg Architecture, Dico & Tiganas and Studio Kristof.
