On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, an online seminar was held on “Interviewing Process: A look behind the curtain” addressed to students and alumni of the Neapolis University Pafos. The action was organized in the framework of the University’s cooperation with Intersport, a member of the Fourlis group of companies, from the company’s Human Resources Department as an initiative of the Neapolis University’s Liaison and Alumni Offices.
In the webinar, participants were inducted in a different perspective of the recruitment interview process through the eyes of corporate recruiters, got tips on writing a resume, how to present at a recruitment interview, and learned about the effects and changes of the post-Covid-19 era recruitment process.
The presentation was undertaken by Mrs. Maria Kolokytha, HR Manager Greece & Cyprus and Mrs. Natassa Fotinakopoulou, HR Generalist, who, through a contemporary presentation, shared with the participants their knowledge and rich experience from the HR industry. Intersport Human Resources executives then reported on real-life HR industry and interview procedures, and participants were given tips on mapping their first steps in a successful professional career.
The successful implementation of this action highlights the need to plan and implement similar actions of extroversion, interaction and additional synergies of the University community with the business world using modern technologies, creativity and the will of the student community to participate in actions related to entry and development in the labor market.
