It is with great pleasure and honour that Neapolis University Pafos welcomes Professor Stelios N. Georgiou as the new Dean of the School of Health Sciences as from the new academic period 2021-2022.
Professor Georgiou has published his work in international scientific Journals and is an active member of international professional bodies. He is also the author of Educational Psychology textbooks that are used in Greek Universities. He has taught at many Universities abroad, and was also a Professor for many years at the University of Cyprus, where, in addition to teaching and research, he has held important positions of administrative responsibility.
The new Dean is expected to assist in further improving the already successful Psychology Programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level, the quality upgrade of the School of Health Sciences as well as the increase of its international recognition.
The presence and participation of Prof. Stelios N. Georgiou in the academic community of Neapolis University Pafos confirms the University’s firm commitment to excellence, the continuous effort to enrich the learning process with innovative ideas and practices, but also of the Curricula and services it offers to its student community.
