New Accredited Program BSc in International Relations & Security (Distance Learning)

The Department of History, Politics, and International Studies, announces the accreditation of its new program, the BSc in International Relations and Security (Distance Learning to be taught in its completed form in English).

The program is to be offered for and welcome its first students, during the academic years 2023-24, starting in October 2023. The BSc in International Relations and Security (Distance Learning), has been accredited after a complete and rigorous international process, assuring the latest standards of the committee of academic accreditation while also the academic professional and scientific achievements at the department and university levels.

Our new program offers students the opportunity to acquire extensive and in-depth knowledge in a wide range of issues related with international affairs and security, both in theory and practice, focusing particularly on recent and contemporary processes, trends, challenges, and problematics. The program combines in-depth academic teaching and cutting-edge research through key concepts, theories, and case-studies, alongside a structured process of engagement with contemporary debates and experience.

Courses include among others, International Relations and Diplomacy, International Organization and International Law, Security and Strategic studies as well as Politics and Economics.

According to the program’ learning outcomes, explains, identifies, defines, describes, analyzes latest trends, and forecasts elements in international relations and security.

Graduates of our program are expected to pursuit careers in the diplomatic corps, in international organizations, in NGOs, as well as in both the public sector and the private business as policy and security advisors and analysts.
