A faculty delegation of Neapolis University in cyprus consisting of Drs. Spyros Vliamos, Professor of Political Economy and Director of the Graduate Program in Public Administration and Dr. Julia Georgi, Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture and Director of European and Research Programs, held a series of informative lectures in Thessaly region.
On June 19, 2013 they have visited the TEI Thessaly in Larissa, Thessaly TEI – Annex Trikala and the Hospital for Chronic Diseases in Trikala, while on June 20, 2013 they visited the TEI Thessaly Karditsa. Interested students were informed of the Undergraduate and Graduate Programs of Neapolis University in Cyprus and actions at European – Research Projects followed by a constructive discussion with the students and teachers. There was also a discussion on the possibilities of further cooperation of Neapolis University in Cyprus with the Thessaly TEI research and educational level. The delegation of Neapolis during their visit to the Hospital for Chronic Diseases in Trikala met also with the Governor and the Council members and employees and informed about the work being done in the Infirmary. The lectures were supported by the Department of TEI of Thessaly, the Liaison Offices and the Union of Cypriots in the area.
