On November 9, 2013 in the new Cultural Training Centre of the ETEK (Technical Chamber of Cyprus) in Nicosia, an informative seminar entitled “Financing Opportunities Activities, Research and development in the areas of Engineering,” was successfully co-organized by the Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK) and the Research Promotion Foundation (RPF). Two members of academic staff of the Neapolis University in Cyprus participate in the Committee of Research and Technology of the ETEK. Dr. John Bellos assistant professor, who was coordinator of the seminar and lecturer Thomas Dimopoulos. The purpose of the event was to familiarize engineers and others with the procedures required to successfully claim and participation in European Research Programmes.
