On January 15, 2015 a Conference on the Law of Energy was held at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens under the auspices of the University of Athens, the Greek Society of Energy Law and the Foundation of Professor Elias Krispis and Dr. Anastasia Samara – Krispis for International Legal Studies. The event was attended by distinguished professors and researchers from the University of Athens, Democritus University of Thrace, Panteion University, University College London, etc., who examined many interesting aspects of energy law (international investments, dispute resolution, contracts for exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons, etc.)
In this event, the LAW SCHOOL OF NEAPOLIS UNIVERSITY was represented by Lecturer G. Pavlidis, who gave a presentation on the topic: “European Union and projects of common interest in the energy sector under the regime of Regulation 347/2013“. The presentation of Mr. Pavlidis dealt with the financial instruments that will help raise €200 billion in investments, which will be necessary for energy infrastructure in Europe by 2020, focusing on the strategic geographic infrastructure priority corridors in the areas of electricity, natural gas and oil.
