Professor of Neapolis University gives lecture at an Educational Seminar of Police Officers

In a seminar, which was organized with great success in Athens by the Hellenic Center for Security Studies for senior officers of the Hellenic Police on “The mission of the Hellenic Police in the framework of Globalization, New Forms of Criminality and Social Culture”, Constantinos GE. ATHANASSOPOULOS, Professor at NEAPOLIS University in Cyprus, referred to a number of issues, such as:

• Values and principles governing the work of the Hellenic Police.
• The Hellenic Police and Public Opinion Surveys: Myths and Realities.
• Contemporary International Affairs in the era of Globalization.
• The Area of Freedom, Security and Justice of the European Union: Special reference to police cooperation, etc.

The lecture was followed by a lengthy discussion and extremely important views on the work of the Police Force were presented.
