Call for Applications: Doctoral Candidates – Winter Semester 2026–2027

The Doctoral Studies Unit of Neapolis University Pafos announces a call for applications for a limited number of Doctoral Candidate positions for the Winter Semester 2026 to 2027.

Applications will be accepted from Wednesday, 15 July 2026 until Sunday, 30 August 2026 at 23:59.

Doctoral Programmes:

Applications are invited for the following doctoral programmes:

• Psychology (Greek and English)
• Modern and Contemporary History (Greek)
• International Relations and Security (English)
• Accounting and Finance, jointly supervised with the University of Western Macedonia (Greek and English)
• Project Management, jointly supervised with Democritus University of Thrace (Greek and English)
• Business Administration, jointly supervised with the University of Piraeus (Greek and English)

Applications and all required supporting documents must be submitted electronically through the Doctoral Studies Unit’s online application platform. Applicants may apply for one or more doctoral programmes and are required to submit a research proposal within their selected field of study.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must hold a recognised Master’s degree in a relevant field of study and demonstrate proficiency in the English language where required by the programme.

The application file must include:
• A research proposal
• A letter of intent
• Two letters of recommendation
• A detailed curriculum vitae (CV)

Applications will be evaluated based on the applicant’s academic qualifications, the quality and originality of the research proposal, and their ability to undertake independent scientific research. Applications or supporting documents submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
