A meeting of Mr. Andreas Kettis, head of the European Parliament office in Cyprus, with the Rector of the Neapolis University in Cyprus, Professor Pantelis Sklias, members of the academic and administrative staff, as well as representatives of the students, was held today.
Emphasis was placed on the contribution of the Neapolis University in Cyprus to informing young people and the local community about key issues in the European Union with a view to increasing participation in the upcoming European Elections.
The Rector of the University has confirmed the institution’s willingness to play an important role in informing students and the local community about the importance of the European elections and the European institutions in general. Against this background, joint initiatives were agreed between the Neapolis University in Cyprus and the European Parliament office in Cyprus.
