The Master of Landscape Architecture of Neapolis University participated at the 1st Forestry Conference that had the following theme: “Forest Research in Cyprus: Past, Present and Future”, that took place in Nicosia on Saturday the 28th of January.
During the Conference of the Cyprian Association of Forest Officers the paper entitled “Landscape Design of the peri-urban forests. Case Study of the suburban forest of Athalassa in Nicosia and the suburban forest of Peyia in Paphos” was presented by Mr. George Charalambous, Forest Officer that Graduated from the Master of Landscape Architecture of Neapolis University and Dr. Julia Georgi, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Architecture, Land and Environment of Neapolis University in Cyprus.
Greetings at the conference were given by the Minister of Education and Culture Dr. Costa Kadi and the Commissioner of the Environment Mrs. Ioanna Panagiotou.
