Visit of the Neapolis University in Cyprus consisting of Dr. Julia Georgi, Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture and Director of European and Research Programs of the University and Chania Lawyer Mr. Renata Daskalakis, General Manager of Group of Companies Leptos Greece, visited the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICH), where they were welcomed and guided by Director Dr. George Baourakis. The Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania, with the institutes in Bari (Italy), Montpellier (France) and Zaragoza (Spain), compose the interstate organization, International Centre of Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM) (www.ciheam.org). During the meeting the prospect of a European cooperation and research programs, graduate studies and the organization of conferences was examined. The complex features fully equipped luxurious meeting rooms with specialized staff and can hosts international conferences, seminars, symposia, meetings, exhibitions, and activities serving summer educational programs.
